After creating a page in Google Sites, you can add a number of elements to the page, including text boxes and images which can be sized to specific sizes to fit with the responsive design of Google Sites. This means that images will display correctly on any device, from a laptop to a tablet or mobile phone.

Grouping images with text

You can move text boxes and images into vertical groups on a site page, allowing you to move all items around the page in a single step. This is especially useful if you want to add information below images in the site e.g. as captions.

To move an item to group it with another:

When you click on either item, both will be selected. The items can be moved together to a new location on the page.
