After creating a page in Google Sites, you can add a number of elements to the page, including text boxes and images which can be sized to specific sizes to fit with the responsive design of Google Sites. This means that images will display correctly on any device, from a laptop to a tablet or mobile phone.Â

Click on the first button to crop the image to a specific size. After clicking on the button, use the slider to zoom in or out of the image as required, then click on the tick button.
Click on the second button to reset the image size after cropping it.
Click on the third button to add a link to the image, so that a specific page is displayed when the image is clicked.
Click on the fourth button to delete an image no longer required.
Click on the ellipses to show additional options to add alternate text for accessibility, or to replace the image with another image
You can move text boxes and images into vertical groups on a site page, allowing you to move all items around the page in a single step. This is especially useful if you want to add information below images in the site e.g. as captions.
To move an item to group it with another:
Click on the item you wish to move in line with another item on page
Drag the item under the item you wish to group it with
When you click on either item, both will be selected. The items can be moved together to a new location on the page.
