Collaborative Inboxes in new Google Groups

The new Google Groups interface has been updated to include Collaborative Inboxes.

You can now create a Collaborative Inbox in new Google Groups to allow teams to collaborate on messages received by a Google Group. Messages can be assigned to specific users, labelled and filtered to allow easier organisation.

Google Groups on mobile devices

New Google Groups can now be viewed on the web browser of mobile devices, with the modern and streamlined interface making it easier to complete common tasks including finding and browsing groups, managing group membership and reading group conversations.

New in May 2020

A new interface is now available for Google Groups, allowing you to create and manage groups in a clearer interface.

Note that the new interface is still being developed by Google and same features are not yet available, including collaborative inboxes, shared labels, subscription management and default group roles.
