Live captions can be enabled in a meeting to make them more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing participants.
To turn on captions, click on the Captions button along the bottom of the screen.
Once enabled, captions will display automatically when anyone talks in the meeting.
To turn off captions, click on the Captions button again.
If meeting attendees are speaking a language other than English, you can set this so that captions are displayed correctly for the language being used. You can also choose to translate the captions into another language.
To do this:
Click on the Ellipses along the bottom of the screen and choose Settings.
Click on the Captions tab
Choose the language that people will be using in your meeting
If you wish to translate the captions into another language, click on Translated captions then choose the language to translate to
Click on the Close button
