You can extend the functionality of Google forms using add-ons, which are useful tools written by third parties and added via the add-ons store for Google Apps. Examples of add-ons for forms include tools to add form questions to Google docs, and tools to stop receiving form responses after a specific number of responses has been reached.
Note that add-ins must be enabled by your administrator in order for them to be available in Google Workspace.
To add an add-on to forms:
In a form, click on the ellipses in the top-right corner of the screen
Choose Add-ons
The add-ons store will open. You can browse the store by scrolling up or down the list of add-ons, or can choose to show a particular add-on category e.g. Productivity.
To search for a particular add-in, type text into the Search add-ons box, then press Return to find all matches:
Once you have located the add-on you wish to add:
Click on the add-on you wish to add
Click on the Add button
Click on Individual install to add the add-on to your account
You will be asked to give permission to install the add-on:
Click on Continue
Choose your Google Account from the list displayed
Click on Allow
Click on the Done link to clear the notification message
You can now click on the Add-ons menu to access the add-on:
To remove an add-on no longer needed:
Click on the ellipses in the top-right corner of the screen
Choose Add-ons
Click on the ellipses next to the add-on you wish to remove
Choose Uninstall
Click on Uninstall App
