Searching for messages in spaces
As well as searching for direct messages, you can search in a particular space for keywords, direct mentions, images, videos and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
To search for content in a specific space:
Click on the space you wish to search
Click on the Search button in the top-right corner of the screen
Type any keywords to find
Press Return
To search for your keywords across all messages in Google Chat, click on the drop-down arrow at the top of the search results and choose All spaces and direct messages.
