Adding space members
You can add members to a space manually, or by simply including their name in a message.
Add members manually
To add new members, click on the Add people and bots button in the space, then choose each member you wish to add.
Select each new member for the group from the list of suggestions, or type the name or email address of the person you wish to add. If your space allows external members, these will show in yellow once added to the space.
Click on Send to invite the new members to the space.
There is currently no documented limit for the number of people you can add to a space, but if you add more than 1000, you may have to wait 24 hours before adding more.
Adding members by mention
If you mention someone in a conversation, they will be added to the space immediately and will be able to join all conversations in the space once they have been added.
To mention someone in a conversation, type @ followed by their name. Click on Add to space next to the name of the person you wish to add.
