As the meeting host, when you delete a meeting from your calendar, you will be asked if you want to inform all guests, or just cancel the meeting without sending any notification.
To remove a meeting from your calendar:
Click on the meeting in your calendar
Click on the Delete button in the speech bubble
Choose the required option for notifying guests:
If you are invited to a meeting and subsequently delete it from your calendar, the meeting will not be cancelled for the host and any other guests. However, your response to the meeting will change to not attending.
