Google Calendar / Getting Started with Google Calendar

Add a Google Meet link to an event

You can add a Google Meet video call to a calendar event you create, adding a meeting link to the event which attendees can click on to enter the online meeting. Note that meetings created in the calendar will follow any restrictions or settings that your Google Workspace administrator has applied.

Clicking anywhere in the calendar will create an hour-long event starting at the time you clicked. You will be prompted for a subject for the event and can enter additional information for the meeting, including adding guests and setting options.

Note that your Google Workspace administrator may have set a Google Meet meeting to be included in all calendar events you create by default.

To add a meeting to your calendar manually, click on the Add Google Meet video conferencing button.

A meeting will be added to the event. Click on the Save button when all of the event details have been added.
