Rather than having all of your appointments in a single calendar, you can create additional calendars in Google so that you can group and categorise your appointments more easily. You could keep your main Google Calendar for work-related appointments, for example.
You can display as many calendars as required on one screen. The calendars will overlay each other so you can see all upcoming appointments in a single screen.
To create a new calendar:
Click on the + symbol to the right of the Other calendars heading on the left-hand side of the screen
Choose to Create new calendar
Enter a calendar Name - this will appear under My Calendars on the left-hand side of the page
Enter a Description for the calendar
Set the Time zone for the calendar by choosing the country and time zone
Click on Create Calendar
The new calendar will be listed under My Calendars and will show on screen by default.
You can display multiple calendars by clicking on each calendar you wish to show in the My Calendars list. Calendars with a coloured checkbox are currently displayed.
You can choose the colour in which a calendar displays by positioning the mouse over the calendar name and clicking on the ellipses. Choose the required colour from the options listed.
If you want to remove a calendar that's no longer needed, this can be done in one of two different ways.
If you don't want to remove the calendar permanently, you can hide it from your calendar list by positioning the mouse over the calendar, clicking on the ellipses and choosing Hide from list.
To remove a calendar permanently
Click on the Settings cog in the top-right corner of the screen and choose Settings
On the left-hand side of the screen, click on the name of the calendar you wish to remove
Click on Remove Calendar
Click on the Delete Calendar link
Click on Permanently Delete in the confirmation box displayed
