One of the main benefits of Google Calendar is the ability to be able to share your calendars with colleagues. By default, you will be able to view the calendar of anyone in your organisation and see all information for their appointments, unless they have specifically marked the appointment.
To add a colleague's calendar:
Click on the + symbol to the right of the Other calendars heading on the left-hand side of the screen
Choose Subscribe to calendar
Type the name of the person whose calendar you wish to view
Select the required person from the list of suggestions

The calendar will be added and the calendar settings page will display. Change settings for the calendar as required, then click on the Back button to return to your calendar.
To mark a calendar appointment as private, so that colleagues cannot view the details of the event:
Click on the event you wish to edit
Click on the Edit button
Click on the drop-down arrow of the Default Visibility list and choose Private
Click on Save to save the event
