View document activity
You can view an activity stream in Google Drive, to see all of the changes made to the files that you can access in Google Drive. Activities such as editing, commenting, sharing, uploading and removing will be shown for all files in Drive. When you select a specific file, only the activities for that file will be displayed.
To show the activity stream in Google Drive:
Click on the View details button towards the right-hand side of the Drive screen
Click on the Hide details button again to hide the activity stream
The activity stream will display on the right-hand side of the screen:
When a specific file is selected, an additional Details option will show in the stream. Click on this link to show a preview of the file, as well as information who the document is shared with, the description, folder location and dates on which the document was last modified and opened.
